Klyashtorny also recently completed a two-year term on the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Board of Governors, was a member of its Cabinet and served as a voting member on the Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention, investigating and making recommendations regarding the fitness of candidates for the state judiciary.

Additionally, she currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Louis D. Brandeis Law Society.

She received her undergraduate degree from American University and graduated from Temple University School of Law. While in law school, she was an Associate Editor of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal and authored an article in that journal titled “Ireland’s Abortion Law: An Abuse of International Law.”
